In a little over one week, the Graphics of the Americas Expo (GOA) will take place in Orlando, Florida. From February 21 to 23 at the Orange County Convention Center, more thanĀ 90 countries and 9,800 printers, designers and creative professionals will come together to discuss and demonstrate the latest innovations for the graphics and printing industry.

According to a Xitron LLC press release, the company will highlight its full array of prepress and pressroom workflow at the GOA. Some of the products include inkjet to film, inkjet to polyester plate and USB interfaces for Heidelberg Prosetter.

Karen Crews, Xitron’s president, said in the release that her company’s products are aimed at print shops that consist of just one to two workers as well asĀ global businesses that have multiple plants.

“Xitron develops affordable and modular solutions. Our users never worry about having their prepress workflow become outdated as their requirements change. With a Xitron solution, users simply add capacity and features as needed,” Crews said.

Enfocus is another organization looking forward to GOA. Steve Hosford, company channel sales manager will present on the benefits of workflow automation. In an Enfocus press release he explained that printing companies usually know that automation can help their business, but owners are not always sure how it can be beneficial. It’s a simple process, he said, with low investment and a large return.

In order to remain ahead of the competition, and stay profitable in a digital age, printing companies must ensure that they are continuously offering quality options to their customers. Attending events like the GOA can be very beneficial.

Additionally, the finishing process is important. Investing in laminating machines and professional binding equipment can ensure that printers are not only designing unique graphics, but that the documents can stay durable and held together.
